It all started with these three little stinkers.
They've been getting on me all summer about how I need to show my love for them by not only spending time with them, but by also spending money on them. (Anna often approaches me randomly during the day and says, "Debbie, are you feeling generous?" in hopes that I will volunteer my money for her disposal.)
Conditional love? It sure sounds like it. ;)
However, knowing that I would do just about anything to have 3 beautiful little ladies be my models in a photoshoot, we struck a deal.
An afternoon with their big sis AND free ice cream (purchased by yours truly) in exchange for a photoshoot where I call the shots and they can't complain or argue with me.
And thus, our "Cuties in Crocs" photoshoot took place.
After a stop at Baskin Robbins for the promised ice cream, we took a drive down memory lane -- quite literally. The location I chose for the photoshoot was the neighborhood that our family lived in from 1994 to 1998, roughly (only 5 minutes from the house we currently live in). We parked near the nature trail entrance that I walked many times when I was little, and our adventure began...

The end! Tori, Abby, Anna... thanks for being such troopers and such AWESOME models. It was a fun memory for my summer. :)

ReplyDeletemmmm, i'm a fan of your overall photographic work here, shows some real potential. but i'm curious as to what you're promoting and/or supporting. as i'm sure you are aware that crocs are completely devastating to out planet. not in just the fashion world but the factories that produce these "shoes" emit more than 534 different greenhouse gases every day. not to mention that it has been statistically proven that the amount of public exposure given to crocodiles because of these "shoes" sends nearly 45,000 alligators into suicidal depression every year due to lack of attention. also the surprisingly comfy and durable feel that this "shoe"provides, lures users into thinking that it is socially acceptable to wear them whenever and wherever they want. clearly not true. on top of that due to the oversized footing and naturally wide opening in the "croc" most users these days have fat feet. this, of course, is due to the fact that those individuals are fat. hence these "shoes" promote obesity and generally being over weight. is that really something that you want to support? have you really thought through the pros and cons your photos may be affecting? not to take away from your ability, i think that you show absolutely sensational amounts of skill in your iso usage within this gallery. yet, i would just challenge you to think on the message that you are conveying and really spend time meditating on how your ideas affect others.
